Global Burden of Disease Study 2021 (GBD 2021) Demographics 1950-2021

The Global Burden of Disease Study 2021 (GBD 2021), coordinated by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), estimated the burden of diseases, injuries, and risk factors for 204 countries and territories and selected subnational locations. Annual estimates for fertility, population, migration, and all-cause mortality will be available from the GBD 2021 Results Tool (forthcoming May 2024). Estimates will be available by age and sex for 1950-2021.
