A strain of Rhodococcus erythropolis screened from epichlorohydrin saponification wastewater was able to grow in an autotrophic environment without the addition of a carbon source. In order to investigate the mechanism of carbon fixation and energy acquisition, samples from 1d, 3d, and 7d of the strain under autotrophic and glucose-added eutrophic conditions were selected for transcriptome sequencing in order to be able to explain the mechanism of its autotrophic growth.
