Volume of commercial real estate investment in Italy 2015-2023

Investments in the Italian commercial real estate market amounted to 5.4 billion euros in 2023, which was a sharp decline from the previous year. Commercial real estate includes different types of properties used for business purposes, such as office, industrial and logistics, and retail buildings. In Italy, offices have traditionally been the most popular asset class among real estate investors, but in 2021, the share of investments into this property type decreased.
