This study isolated and characterized bacteriophage cocktails targeting Salmonella Enteritidis. Environmental samples were enriched with this bacteria to isolate bacteriophages. Then DNA was extracted, sequenced using Illumina technology and analyzed at the Immunology and Virology laboratory at the University of the Armed Forces ESPE in Ecuador.
