Metastatic prostate cancer organoids obtained from micro-metastasis at a retroperitoneal lymph node

The treatment of prostate cancer has been impeded by the lack of clinically relevant disease models. There are only three cell lines expressing the androgen receptor as available models of this heterogeneous disease out of the over 4,000 publicly available cancer cell lines. The organoid culture system allows us to personalize treatment options.
