Wind driven rain gauge

Open source design files of the wind driven rain (WDR) gauge as designed at Loughborough University. The design can be used to 3D print the WDR gauge in different materials.<br>The design contains the frame and protective cap for the data logging equipment. The gauge is designed to work work with a 190 x 190 mm² (glass) collection plate of 2 mm thickness. Under the protective cap a tipping bucket (recommended sensitivity 2.5 mm) or other measurement device can be placed with a data logger.<br>The record contains the files for the main structure and protective cover.<br>
