klf4 is enriched in a putative tegument associated lineage of S. mansoni. To investigate the function of klf4, we compared transcriptional profiles of klf4 (RNAi) worms to those of control (RNAi) worms. Adult male parasites were treated with either klf4-targeting dsRNA or control dsRNA for 17 days, then subjected to RNAseq.
