Dataset and analysis scripts supporting: “Trehalose Transport as a Male-Specific Axis of Mosquito Energy Metabolism and Reproductive Fitness”

This repository contains the primary datasets, reproducible analysis scripts, and supporting media used to generate the results and figures in the study. The study investigates the role of trehalose transport and metabolism in regulating male energetic balance and reproductive performance in Anopheles stephensi.All analyses were conducted using R, and the included R Markdown files(RMD) allow full reproduction of the statistical analyses and visualisations reported in the manuscript.The deposited files include:1-Raw and processed datasets for sugar longevity assays and mating-status survival analyses(RMD).2-RT-qPCR expression datasets for TRET1 (TreT) and trehalase (TreH) across defined swarm–mating stages(RMD).3-Haemolymph trehalose and glucose quantification data generated from enzymatic assays(RMD).4-RNAi gene-silencing validation datasets and reproductive output measurements(RMD).5-Excel datasets corresponding to trehalose assay (.xls - as it is not embedded in RMD).6-Supporting video documentation of mating behaviour and swarm-stage sampling
