Chromosome-level genome assembly of <i>Populus davidiana</i>

Populus davidiana (Salicaceae) is an ecologically important tree species with a wide latitudinal distribution. It remains largely undomesticated and exhibits high resistance to diverse environmental stresses. Here, we presented a gap-free, telomere-to-telomere (T2T) assembly of the P. davidiana genome, comprising 410,747,196 bp of nuclear DNA across 19 chromosomes.
