资源简介:
Last data update: February 19, 2019 A 15m setback has been applied to the meanderbelt of all riverine systems in the LSRCA watershed. Many meanderbelts have been updated due to watercourse modifications, study data from Parish Geomorphic, and site visit updates from planning and monitoring departments. Holland Marsh Canal - meanderbelt setback is 15 m from the outside edge of the canal based on 2013 Orthophotography. Municipal Drains In Agricultural Areas and Piped Watercourses have a meanderbelt setback of 15m from the watercourse centreline. The erosion hazard limit for a riverine system consists of stream bank erosion and stable slope allowance for a confined riverine system and a meanderbelt for an unconfined riverine system. Parish Geomorphic has determined the meanderbelts for Streams of Order 3 & greater in East & West Holland, Maskinonge, Black, Pefferlaw, Uxbridge & Beaver subwatersheds. In the absence of a study, the meanderbelt has been defined as twenty times the bankful width of a reach centered on the meanderbelt axis. Special considerations have been given for meanderbelts in Holland Marsh & TSW Canals, Municipal Drains with Agricultural Areas & Piped Watercourses. Where on-line ponds are located in areas where the meanderbelt is considered the dominant hazard, they have been added into the meanderbelt setback layer. In 2019 the extent was updated to LSRCA Scientific Watershed boundary.
