Research Data and Reproducibility Materials for "Tactile and Physical Interaction Problems in In-Vehicle Infotainment Systems: A Systematic Literature Review"

This record provides the research data and supporting documentation for the revised systematic review “Tactile and Physical Interaction Problems in In-Vehicle Infotainment Systems: A Systematic Literature Review”. The current corpus comprises 342 eligible reports assessed using 34 operational codes across seven categories, yielding 11,628 report–code decisions: 3,635 positive, 7,677 negative and 316 unresolved. The materials are organised into eight editable Word volumes, each with a linked table of contents: Methods and Figures: supplementary sections S1–S12, review methods, operational codebook, PRISMA crosswalk, Figures 1–2 and a source-to-volume index. Corpus and Eligibility: the complete bibliography, bibliographic provenance, retrieval records and eligibility decisions. Characterisation and Appraisal: report characteristics and MMAT domain-level appraisals. Coding Evidence: all 11,628 coding decisions, source-page locators and supporting rationales. Synthesis and Decision Changes: synthesis matrices, coverage and overlap bounds, sensitivity analyses, historical-to-current decision comparisons and Figures 3–5. Historical Citation Screening: historical citation metadata and title-and-abstract screening decisions. Historical Full-Text Eligibility: historical reviewer assessments, eligibility decisions and consensus records. Historical Coding and Reproducibility: historical calibration, independent coding, adjudication and reliability records, together with package documentation and verification-script texts. The current 342-report evidence base is distinguished from the earlier 228-report archive. Historical-to-current linkage covers 5,916 decision pairs for 174 retained reports. Historical independent ratings and consensus decisions remain separate from the authors’ joint source verification conducted from 13 to 23 October 2026. Tables are presented as editable Word content. Repeated wording is retained through linked value keys, and verification scripts are reproduced as editable text in Volume 8. Five updated figures are embedded in the relevant volumes. Copyrighted primary publications and extended verbatim source quotations are not redistributed. Bibliographic identifiers, source-page locators and paraphrased rationales support traceability. Computational consistency checks do not, by themselves, establish scientific validity.
