An updated checklist of quill mites of the family Syringophilidae (Acariformes: Prostigmata)

An updated checklist of quill mites of the family Syringophilidae (Acariformes: Prostigmata) is an open-access resource of current knowledge on taxonomy, systematics, bird host species, distribution, and references regarding parasitic quill mites of the family Syringophilidae that inhabit the interiors of feather quills. The list will be updated approximately once a year and available on figshare.com as the Excel Spreadsheet Workbook file (.xlsx). The file can be opened with Microsoft Excel (Microsoft Corporation), free and open-source office software, e.g. LibreOffice Calc (The Document Foundation), or web-based office suite, e.g. Google Sheets (Google LLC).
