资源简介:
Drought was the main factor that restricts the sugarcane productivity and it brought a lot loss of yield in china. Through excavation and utilization with high drought resistance and water use efficiency resources is a new methodology to improve the sugarcane drought resistance. Saccharum spontaneum L. is has drought resistant and barren tolerance, which is the most important wild germplasm resources for sugarcane breeding. The wild germplasm resources of Saccharum spontaneum L. were collected and evaluated by applicants, and obtained some differential genes, but the regulated key genes and molecular regulation mechansim are still unclear. In this project, drought stress will be conducted on the Saccharum spontaneum L., the differences of morphological, physiological and biochemical in response to drought stress would be analyzed. Transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics would be combined to excavate the related genes, proteins, metabolites and the regulation of important metabolic pathways. The molecular regulation mechansim in response to drought stress on Saccharum spontaneum L. would be structured by multi-omics. The Key candidate genes for drought resistance would be obtained and their functions would be verified. The mechanism of the response to drought stress of Saccharum spontaneum L. would be expounded by the morphological, physiological and molecular levels, which would provide the premise and basis for the revelation of molecular regulation mechanism of drought resistance and germplasm improvement and development for drought tolerance in sugarcane.
