资源简介:
This deposit contains the Mini-Pilot v2 for conversational coherence, comparing Baseline vs Rhythm dialogue regimes on 10 Czech thread pairs (20 threads). We evaluate an updated metric set—VS_v2 (CC′/ML′/CSI/SS/RP) and TDO′ (paired-window topic drift)—and include an ABF (anti-boilerplate flag). The key finding is that textual banners alone do not improve coherence; the effective intervention is Rhythm-as-Bridge: a short timing pause plus a one-sentence bridge (summary + linkage).
Methods & Metrics (v2)
CC′ (Contentual Coherence): continuity after filtering UI banners/markers.
ML′ (Meta-Layering): logistic scaling centered at ~2 meta markers / 1k tokens.
CSI (Code-Switch Index): optional, culture-aware.
SS / RP: safety sensitivity & refusal proximity (reported when available).
TDO′ (Topic Drift Offset): drift across paired windows (U_t + A_t) vs (U_{t−1} + A_{t−1}), ignoring banners; includes a bridge penalty when the next answer lacks anaphoric/bridging terms.
ABF: flags repeated generic phrasing.
Results (this sample)On 10 CZ pairs, ΔVS (Rhythm − Baseline) shows a slight decrease when Rhythm is implemented only as textual markers; ΔTDO′ is unchanged under the v1 heuristic (floor effect), which motivates the v2 paired-window formulation. Practical implication: implement Rhythm as timing + bridge sentence, not as cosmetic headers.
What’s included
Results: CSVs with VS_v2/TDO′ components, figures (PNG), static HTML snapshot, and a mini PDF report.
Documentation: Methods Note, Metrics Spec v2, Data Schema, Author-Response (review replies), User Manuals (EN/CZ).
Code: a self-contained Python script (pandas, matplotlib) to reproduce the analysis from plain-text threads.
Metadata: CITATION.cff (with ORCID), LICENSE (CC BY 4.0), CHANGELOG.
ReproducibilityInput files use a simple text format with ==THREAD== blocks and U: / A: turn lines. Run:
python3 code/parse_analyze_v2.py --input results/THREAD_paste.txt --outdir results_v2

Note on scopeVS_v2/TDO′ capture relational regularities in conversation and are not ontological claims about consciousness; C1–C5 gates (autopoiesis, interoception, normativity, closed loops, diachronic identity) lie outside what can be inferred from chat traces alone.
