This report summarizes the results of an intensive archeological reconnaissance of the area which will be inundated by the construction of the Alzada Dam. When aboriginal sites were discovered, they were photographed and located on a map, and site data were recorded on standard forms. Surfaces of sites were searched for artifacts and for archeological features, and records were made of such finds,
12 archaeological sites were identified over the course of the survey, each of which is briefly described. Either 9, or 10 were noted as within the area to be inundated by the creation of the reservoir here.
The findings are summarized, and the report ends with a draft of recommendations for examintation of the identified sites.
