Share of Canadians gift shopping on Cyber Monday by region 2021

In 2021, about a third of consumers in the Canadian province of Ontario planned on shopping online for holiday gifts during Cyber Monday, one of the largest sales events of the year. In each of the other analyzed provinces, a share of 20 to 30 percent of consumers were planning to shop online on this day. Overall, Canadians were more likely to buy presents online during Black Friday that year.
