The Missing Theory: 3D Magnetic Asymmetry and the Epistemological Duplicity in Electromagnetic Theory

Mainstream physics employs two incompatible descriptions of magnetism dependingon context: (1) Maxwell's symmetric field equations for theoretical/constrainedsystems, and (2) an undeclared torque-dominant attraction regime for real 3D freesystems. When confronted with empirical evidence showing complete asymmetry (0:64attraction:repulsion ratio), defenders invoke "well-known" torque effects—yet noformalized theory, predictive equations, or systematic treatment of this regime exists inthe literature. This paper demonstrates that the distinction between "Maxwellian 2Dmagnetism" and "3D free-system magnetism" is an ad hoc invention used defensivelyto protect theoretical frameworks, rather than a recognized bifurcation inelectromagnetic theory.
