资源简介:
We provided the dataset of neural correlates (contrast images) of the prolonged Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT) from 38 patients with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and 38 healthy controls (HCs) with sedentary lifestyles. The dataset can be used to replicate the results of the manuscript titled “Absence of functional adaptation in chronic fatigue syndrome revealed by task functional MRI.” This manuscript investigated an often-overlooked aspect of task functional MRI (tfMRI) in brain function dynamics—specifically, how tfMRI signals change over time during cognitive tasks for ME/CFS patients compared to HCs. Details of data collection and processing can be found in the manuscript. The demographic and symptom scores were provided in the spreadsheet. Four subject-level contrasts were determined: 1. con0001.nii: both task blocks (60 trials) vs rest; 2. con0002.nii: block 1 (30 trials) vs block 2 (30 trials); 3. con0003.nii: block 1 – 1st set (15 trials) vs block 1 – 2nd set; 4. con0004.nii: block 2 – 1st set vs block 2 – 2nd set.
