Data related to the research of alkenones in Lake Ngoring sediment core on the northeastern Tibetan Plateau

This dataset contains alkenone indices (UK37 and RIK37) in Lake Ngoring sediment core over the last 2,000 years. Group 1 alkenone-based UK37 with RIK37<0.7 from the sediment core can be used to reconstruct cold season temperature changes on the northeastern Tibetan Plateau. Alkenone were analyzed by an Agilent 8890N GC system equipped with a flame ionization detector (FID).
