To elucidate the mechanisms underlying AKR1B10 deficiency-enhanced metastasis, we performed transcriptome profiling by RNA-seq to explore the signaling pathways affected by AKR1B10. Overall design: Colorectal cancer cell HCT116 stably expressing shAKR1B10 or control shRNA were harvested for RNA preparation. Total RNA was extracted using TRIzol reagent and sequenced on Illumina Novaseq 6000 sequencing instrument (BGI, China). There were two experimental groups (shNC, shAKR1B10) with 3 replicates for each.
