Analyzing protest mobilization on Telegram: the case of 2019 Anti-Extradition Bill movement in Hong Kong

The dataset contains an edgelist constructed from the messages of public Telegram channels and groups related to the 2019 Anti-ELAB protests in Hong Kong. The edgelist can be used for the replication of the underlying study (as reported in this preprint https://osf.io/preprints/socarxiv/ueds4/ ; doi 10.31235/osf.io/ueds4) or for further network science-based analysis. The edgelist is constructed from all the messages collected for the aforementioned study (as described in the preprint). Each source node ("source") corresponds to a public group or channel for which we collected a full history and then extracted entities ("target" nodes) mentioned/cited by the source nodes. Hence, one edge in the list corresponds to one such mention. The dataset comprises data from January 2019 to September 2020. Column "date" denotes the days on which a message with a specific mention/citation was posted in the source channel/group.
