This repository contains the data, scripts, and plots supporting the publication: Nolte, A., Bender, S., Hartmann, J., Baltruschat, S., Moosdorf, N. and Reinecke, R.: Coastal groundwater-level trends reveal global susceptibility to seawater intrusion, Nature Water, doi:10.1038/s44221-026-00619-8, 2026. Repository structure 01_Scripts – Python scripts used for trend analysis, data preparation, statistical evaluation, and figure generation. The scripts use input data from the folder 02_Data. Plots and tables generated by the scripts are saved to the folder 03_Plots. 02_Data – Input data and intermediate outputs required to reproduce the results and figures in the folder 03_Plots. 03_Plots – Plots, figures, and tables used in the publication (produced by Python scripts in the folder 01_Scripts).
