Lac des Cornes, QC - June 18, 2017 - Aerial

This mosaic dataset contains RGB aerial imagery of Lac des Cornes, QC, showing tornado damage to trees and cottages. The aerial survey was taken July 10-18, 2017 based on witness reports of a tornado. The track of damage was relatively long and narrow. Ground survey found evidence of minor tree damage but missed more significant damage areas. The tornado passed through group of cottages that experienced minor damage. This imagery was flown by PHB Geomatics, and mosaicked at the Map and Data Centre at Western Libraries. This dataset contains all imagery from PHB excluding 486-5172.tif and 487-5173.tif, due to the error they caused in mosaicking. High resolution imagery is available by request.
