A small-scale experimental coke oven system was constructed to simulate industrial coking conditions. Four typical coking coals were selected for blending experiments, and samples were collected during the plastic phase stage. Characterization methods including Thermogravimetric Analysis (TG), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) were comprehensively employed to systematically investigate the functional group evolution, bonding transformation, and carbon structure ordering behavior during the plastic phase formation in blended coals.
