Retrospective analysis of GA-treated cases offers critical insights into caries epidemiology and associated oral conditions, informing preventive strategies.The microbial composition of caries in children with severe childhood caries was examined using 16S rRNA sequencing. 16S rRNA sequencing confirmed distinct oral microbiota in the sickness group versus healthy controls.
