SSR screening and morphological characterizathion of ‘Galega vulgar’, a very diverse Mediterranean olive tree variety

SSR screening of 595 individuals of a Portuguese olive tree variety, 'Galega vulgar', plus three representative samples of 'Picual', 'Arbequina' and 'Galega' varieties from WOGB.Morphological characterization of endocarps and the endocarp profiles found in the 629 prospected olive trees in 10 traditional Portuguese regions of olive production.本数据集开展了两项相关研究：一是对葡萄牙油橄榄品种‘Galega vulgar’的595个单株及来自WOGB的‘Picual’、‘Arbequina’与‘Galega’三个品种的3份代表性样本开展简单序列重复（Simple Sequence Repeat, SSR）筛选；二是对葡萄牙10个传统油橄榄种植产区内的629株调查油橄榄的内果皮（endocarp）进行形态学表征，并获取其对应的内果皮特征谱。
