TRNEWS-2025: A Multiclass Turkish News Text Dataset

TRNEWS-2025 is a labeled Turkish news dataset created for research in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning. It consists of Turkish news articles collected from different Turkish online newspapers and media portals until 2025. Each article is labeled with one of nine categories that are Magazine, Politics, Sports, Arts - Culture, Health, Finance - Economy, Science-Technology,  Tourism, Environment.This dataset was collected with the assistance of students enrolled in the course BIM 432 \u2013 Natural Language Processing at the Departments of Computer Engineering and Software Engineering Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, during the 2023\u20132024 academic year.
