Dirichlet eigenvalue problems with gradient term operators on the exterior of a ball

In this paper, we study the Dirichlet eigenvalue problems for the operator L with the gradient term on the off-sphere region. We prove the existence, simplicity, and isolation of the first eigenvalue of the operator L, establish an increasing relation between the eigenvalue and the radius R, and further discuss the boundedness of the eigenfunction.
