Low-level data products have been corrected for atmospheric and aerosol effects, and further processed to generate L2 basic data products, as well as L2G (gridded Level 2 products) and L3 data products. MOD09Q1 provides gridded Level 3 (L3) products synthesized over 8-day intervals with 250 m spatial resolution for Bands 1 and 2. Its projection is the sinusoidal projection. Each pixel in MOD09Q1 contains the most plausible L2G observation values over the 8-day period, with priority given to high observation coverage, low viewing angle, cloud-free conditions, no cloud shadows, and consideration of aerosol concentration effects. The products provided by this scientific dataset include reflectance values for Bands 1 and 2, as well as quality assessment data.
