Data supporting One-filter wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence screening of particulate phosphorus and multi-element intensity states for stratified-lake monitoring
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the research article “One-filter WD-XRF monitoring of particulate phosphorus and particle regimes in stratified lakes.” It contains audited row-level particulate phosphorus (PP), wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WD-XRF), and chlorophyll-a data from Lake Biwa; complete-case principal component analysis and Ward hierarchical-clustering inputs and outputs; PCA scores, loadings, and standardization parameters; cluster assignments; figure-source tables; quality-control records; instrument-response harmonization records; nearshore sample-count checks; and the cross-file correction log. The core study comprised 27 depth-resolved surveys at St. 17B from June 2021 to December 2023, representing 189 scheduled depth records, together with 51 nearshore fine-fraction records. Associated-element WD-XRF values are X-ray intensity or count-rate signals reported as kcps or kcps L−1 and should not be interpreted as aqueous elemental concentrations. Only particulate phosphorus was converted to µg P L−1 using the site-specific molybdenum-blue calibration. Blank cells denote unavailable measurements, and no values were imputed unless explicitly stated in the workbook. The dataset is intended to support reproducibility of the particulate-phosphorus calibration, depth and size-fraction summaries, PCA, hierarchical clustering, cluster interpretation, and figures reported in the associated article.
