Operational costs of Ma Tau Kok Detention Centre (MTKDC) (financial years 2016 - 2023) The following notes are adapted from the source: * In terms of the notional annual mid-point salary. ** "As for the “facilities and maintenance” and “other overhead expenses” of the MTKDC, both are part of the day-to-day operational expenses of the Section. The ImmD does not maintain a breakdown of the relevant expenses. For “medical expenses”, the ImmD would transfer detainees at the MTKDC to public hospitals for treatment where necessary. The Hospital Authority does not charge the ImmD for the medical expenses incurred."
