Microbiome of human lungs with aspergillosis infection

Microbiome samples were taken from the lungs of individuals from Portugal with and without aspergillosis infection. Samples were sequenced by 16S rRNA metabarcoding and statistical analyses were performed to determine the effects and correlations of the microbiome with aspergillosis infection and a number of other relevant variables, such as cytokine levels.
