Mannoprotein-induced macrophage transcriptome in antifungal defense

This study investigates the immunomodulatory mechanisms of Candida albicans-derived mannoprotein (MP) in enhancing macrophage-mediated antifungal defense. Using transcriptomic and proteomic approaches, we identified Tnfaip2 as a key downstream effector of the NFkB pathway, which is activated via Dectin-3 receptor upon Mp stimulation.
