Model Outputs from a High Resolution Simulation of a Physical-biogeochemical Coupled Model in the Central South Indian Ocean

This dataset provides high resolution simulation results of a physical-biogeochemical model set up in the Central  South Indian Ocean (SIO). It includes three files: (file1)eddy_physical_biological_data_SIO.mat, (file2) surface_correlation_SIO.mat and (file3) vertical_correlation_SIO.mat. In file1, tracers (e.g., temperature, salinity, nitrate, silicate, chlorophyll or phytoplankton biomass) for an eddy pair in the SIO were saved.File 2 provides subdomain averaged data points of vertical velosity, the frontogenesis function and diversity-index in the near sea surface. data in file 3 are vertical distributions of correlation coefficents between frontogenesis & vertical velocity,  frontogenesis & diversity-index and frontogenesis & phytoplankton biomass.
