Investigating the genome of C.auris to provide insights into the genetic factors influencing the resistance and virulence of the organism

Candida Auris is an emerging yeast pathogen frequently isolated in Candidemia conditions. The organism poses a serious threat due to its intrinsic resistance to fluconazole and amphotericin B, where fluconazole is considered the drug of choice for most Candida infections. C. Auris is associated with nosocomial outbreaks in intensive care settings. This study aimed to investigate the genome of C. Auris to provide insights into the genetic factors influencing the organism's resistance and virulence.
