Successions in Colombian Moist Topical Forests: Implications for Restoration

Dataset from a systematic review conducted on October 3, 2023, in which we searched for indexed articles that studied successions in humid forests in Colombia following various management activities, such as soil remediation, planting of native or exotic species, nucleation, silvopastoral or agroforestry systems, or natural regeneration. The studies selected reported the mean and standard deviation of vegetation structure metrics (basal area, tree density, canopy cover, and height), species richness (plants, birds, and insects), soil nutrients, and leaf litter in successional stages and conserved native forests. We used this dataset to develop the under-review manuscript submitted in the Restoration Ecology Journal.
