NRS-2091 | Monthly returns [Cockatoo Island Penal Establishment]

The following returns are given: 1. State of Cockatoo Island showing the following details: whether under sentence on the roads, in irons, or tickets cancelled. In each division, prisoners are divided into Colonial and Imperial and a total is given. 2. A numerical return of wardsmen and cooks employed on the Island showing type of employment and whether Imperial or Colonial prisoner, total, whether able bodied or exempted by Surgeon. 3. Nominal list of prisoners employed as servants showing: situation, name, ship, Colonial or Imperial, when sentenced and length of sentence, when received. 4. A nominal return of all prisoners on Cockatoo Island showing: number, name, ship, offence, sentence, date of trial (not shown in all cases).
