Impact probability comparison for asteroid 2000 SG344 for NEOForCE and Sentry-II
收藏资源简介:
This table is the full version of Table 4 for publication Vavilov D.E., Hestroffer D. (2026) NEOForCE: Near-Earth Objects’ Forecast of Collisional Events, Astronomy&Astrophysics It presents the comparison of impact probabilities computed by two different monitoring systems: Sentry-II (JPL NASA, USA) and NEOForCE (Paris Observatory, France) for asteroid 2000 SG344 using exactly the same input parameters (orbit and covariance matrix). The first column is the date of a possible collision, the second and forth columns are the impact probabilities computed by NEOForCE and Sentry-II, correspondingly. The third and the fith columns present \sigma_VI parameter, that shows how far the collisional orbit differs from the nominal orbit in terms of standard deviations.
