Soil erosion in Mediterranean Olive Groves - A literarure review - Dataset

This repository contains the supplementary dataset and computational workflow supporting the review paper on soil erosion in Mediterranean olive orchards. The dataset compiles erosion rates from peer-reviewed literature, categorized by measurement methodology, to analyze the influence of spatial scale, temporal scale, and soil management practices (Conventional Tillage vs. Conservation Agriculture). 1. Data Files The data in an Excel file is disaggregated by measurement methodology to allow for specific scale-based comparisons. 2. Code Statistical analysis.ipynb A Jupyter Notebook (Python) containing the complete statistical workflow used in the study. Processes included: Data cleaning, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and mixed linear modeling (MixedLM) to assess the significance of slope, rainfall, and management practices on soil loss rates.
