Wastewater treatment plant influent was collected from 11 northern USA cities during cold weather, 11 southern USA cities during warm weather, and monthly for 5 years from a single city (Milwaukee, WI, USA). Full 16S rRNA gene amplicons (loci 27 to 1492) were sequenced in multiplex on the PacBio Sequel2 using unique barcodes.
