This repository contains macroseismic data related to 87 data (couples Mw and Io), from earthquakes that occurred in Anatolia after 1900, for the calibration of a Mw(Io) relationship. In the reference dataset (Şesetyan et al., 2016), we have adopted the Io values from Bikçe (2016), a study dedicated to earthquakes that caused fatalities and damage in the time-window 1900-2014. As for the magnitude, we have selected values from Ambraseys (2001), ISC (2016; Storchak et al., 2013) and Bikçe (2016). The dataset comprises a CSV file detailing the couples Mw and Io with date event (Ye: Year; Mo: Month; Da: Day), Epicentral Area, Epicentral intensity (Io) and Moment magnitude (Mw) and their respective sources.
