Fractal Dimensions of Venusian Lava Flows

Fractal dimension values for lava flow margins on Venus, updated values using 75m/pixel resolution imagery for all tracings in Atla Regio for Ozza and Maat Montes. The data includes new data from Recchuiti et al. (2025, in review) for Atla Regio on flows from Maat and Ozza Montes as well as a summary of existing fractal studies from the literature as follows: Atla Regio – this work and Bruno & Taylor (1995), Ovda Regio – Wroblewski et al. (2019), Atla Regio Vega 2 Landing Site – Pike et al. (1998), Aphrodite Terra – Bruno & Taylor (1995) and Pike et al. (1998), Phoebe Regio (including Venera 13 and Venera 14) – Bruno & Taylor (1995) and Pike et al. (1998), Lavinia Planitia (including Mylitta Fluctus) Bruno et al. (1992) and Bruno & Taylor (1995), Vasilisa Regio Venera 8 Landing Site – Pike et al. (1998), Gula Mons & Sif Mons – Bruno & Taylor (1995), Sedna Planitia – Bruno & Taylor (1995), Ishtar Terra – Bruno et al. (1992), Strenia Fluctus – Lipkaman & Gregg (2003), and Mahuea Tholus – Parades (2024). Note V4 includes the tracing shapefiles for the new data from Recchuiti et al. (2025 in review). The tracings are identified by their flow and tracing number. For example, the first tracing of Maat Mons flow MM4 is mm4_1, with mm4_2 and mm4_3 being the second and third tracings, respectively.
