资源简介:
WhiteheadAndPoveda_AppleDomesticationThese data show fruit phenolic composition, herbivore resistance measures, and other traits for 56 genotypes of the domesticated apple (Malus domestica) and 52 genotypes of its wild ancestor (Malus sieversii) growing in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) national apple germplasm collection in Geneva, NY. The purpose of the study was to examine how fruit chemistry and resistance have changed during apple domestication. Data in the database entitled “WhiteheadAndPoveda_AppleDomestication.csv” are a combination of data collected in this study and data compiled from the USDA Germplasm Resources Information Network – (GRIN) database. Details are provided below for each variable in the database.
