IMPROVING THE ACTIVITY OF COMMERCIAL BANKS IN THE SECURITIES MARKET

This article examines the theoretical-methodological and practical aspects of improving the activity of commercial banks in the securities market. Based on statistical data, the role of banks in the Republic of Uzbekistan as issuers, investors, and professional participants of the securities market is analysed, and advanced foreign experience is comparatively studied. As a result of the research, the main problems hindering the development of banks’ activity in this market are identified, and scientifically grounded proposals for their elimination are developed.
