This dataset contains country-level greenhouse gas emissions per capita derived from the EDGAR database. Emissions are reported in Mt CO₂ equivalent per year (Mt CO₂eq/yr) and include CO₂ (fossil only), CH₄, N₂O, and F-gases. Aggregation is based on Global Warming Potential values from IPCC AR5 (GWP-100). The dataset covers approximately 210 countries over the period 1970–2024. The data were extracted from the “GHG_totals_per_capita_by_country” sheet available at the EDGAR database (https://edgar.jrc.ec.europa.eu).
