This dataset consists of 70 CTD profiles (pressure, temperature, salinity, potential temperature, density, fluorescence, transmissance, downwelling PAR, dissolved oxygen concentration) collected during the Atlantic Meridional Transect programme cruise AMT24 (JR20140922, JR303). The cruise period was between the 22nd September and 1st November 2014, and CTD data were collected between the 25th September and 1st November 2014. The cruise track between Immingham, United Kingdom and the Stanley, Falkland Islands (Malvinas) passed through both North and South Atlantic gyres. This dataset contributes to the AMT time-series of core oceanographic measurements along a north-south transect of the Atlantic Ocean. The profile down casts have been processed, quality controlled, calibrated for salinity, oxygen and fluorescence, then binned to 1 dbar.
