Microbial community structures of anammox consortia fed with nitrous oxide as an additional electron acceptor

This project contains the microbial community structures of the enriched biomass investigated using the V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene. We aimed to investigate the effect of N2O exposure on the bacterial community structure of anammox consortium. For this purpose, we used a gas-permeable membrane device, which enabled bubble-less N2O supply to the biomass adhering to a membrane. We prepared devices fed with ammonium and nitrite with or without N2O for comparing microbial community compositions.
