Anxiety and depression among cancer patients in Mali: dataset and analysis code (version 2)

Dataset: Anxiety and depression among cancer patients in Mali Anonymized dataset and reproducible analysis code (R, Quarto) of a multicentrecross-sectional study of anxiety and depression among cancer patients in fourhospitals in Bamako, Mali (January 2024 to April 2025; n = 330). Anxiety anddepression were assessed with the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) andillness perception with the Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (B-IPQ). Thecode reproduces the descriptive analysis, the univariable analysis, themultivariable logistic regression models (backward stepwise selection on AIC),their diagnostics (GVIF, Hosmer-Lemeshow test, AUC) and a sensitivity analysiswith Firth's penalized logistic regression. See README.txt and codebook.csv. Version 2 corrects the analysis code: one final multivariable model per outcome,with all diagnostics computed on that model (anxiety AUC 0.80, depression AUC 0.85);the block that refitted other models for the diagnostics in version 1 has beenremoved. Adds a sensitivity analysis (Firth regression), a codebook matching thevariable names of the data file, and the rendered HTML output. The dataset isunchanged.
