Based on previous studies, this study takes a strain hydrocarbon-producing B. braunii race A (Botryococcus braunii SAG 807-1) as the research object and explores the photosynthetic characteristics of B. braunii under the stress of Co2+. The RNA-seq technique has been used to perform transcriptome sequencing analysis of samples of B. braunii before and after Co2+ stress and explore the metabolic pathways involved in the synthesis of hydrocarbons in algae cells induced by Co2+.
