This dataset contains XBT profile data from NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada in the North Pacific Ocean from 2017-10-12 to 2017-10-25. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to NCEI. In addition, this dataset contains supplementary cruise-level metadata, which OMAO personnel provided in the submission package. These data were collected as part of the Untrawlable Habitat Strategic Initiative, chief scientist Mary Yoklavich, NOAA Southwest Fisheries Science Center.
